8/9/2014
Patricia Kopatchinskaja makes her debut with the Berliner Philharmoniker in two concerts on 12 and 13 September performing Peter Eötvös’ Violin Concerto DoReMi at the Berlin Philharmonie under the baton of the composer.
Patricia then gives a late night chamber concert on 13 September with the orchestra, also at the Berlin Philharmonie, performing works by Galina Ustvolskaya with pianist Markus Hinterhäuser – which feature on their new ECM CD due for release this autumn. The programme also includes a selection of Renaissance works with violist Laurence Dreyfus.
Other forthcoming highlights of this season include her debut with the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich and performances with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Radio-Sinfonieorchester Stuttgart des SWR under Sir Roger Norrington and the Philharmonia Orchestra with Vladimir Ashkenazy.
