Peter Eötvös conducts his new piece Multiversum on tour with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra

This month Peter Eötvös tours Europe with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra to premiere his brand new concerto Multiversum written for organ, Hammond organ and orchestra. The co-commissioners include Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie, where the world premiere takes place on 10 October opening Peter Eötvös’ 2017/18 residency in the city.
Further performances will be held at Kölner Philharmonie (11October), Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels (12 October), Müpa in Budapest (13 October) and Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, where the tour concludes with two concerts on 19 and 20 October. Multiversum will be also performed in Paris (Philharmonie de Paris), Geneva (Orchestre de la Suisse Romande), Seoul (Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra), and London in the 2018/19 season (Philharmonia Orchestra in collaboration with Southbank Centre).
