Case Scaglione returns to the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra
7/7/2014
Following his highly successful debut there last year Case Scaglionereturns to the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra to conduct a programme of Wagner, Brahms and Tchaikovsky.
The 12 July concert features the orchestra and participants of the BSO’s Music Educators Academy – a week-long programme which gives music educators the chance to immerse themselves in the world of the orchestra.
Himself a keen inspirer of new participants and audiences to music, Scaglione conducts the ‘side-by-side’ orchestra in a programme of Wagner’s Overture to Tannhauser, Brahms’ Variations on a Theme of Haydn and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.4.
Scaglione’s recently enjoyed another highly successful debut — with the Hong Kong Philharmonic — which resulted in his immediate reinvitation to the orchestra.
