Following his successful debut with the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra in February 2014, when he performed Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Alexei Volodin returns to Scandinavia to make his first appearance with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra on 9 & 10 May.

He again performs Rachmaninov – on this occasion Piano Concerto No.3, in concerts conducted by Juraj Valčuha. Immediately following this concerto appearance, Volodin travels to Spain for a recital at the Palau de la Música in Barcelona on 12 May, when he performs works by Bach, Ravel and Chopin.
