Pekka Kuusisto steps in to perform Philip Glass’ Violin Concerto No.1 with the Gothenburg Symphony conducted by Kent Nagano. The concerts, on 26 & 28 February in Gothenburg and 27 February in Vara, mark the first time Pekka has collaborated with Nagano. The Vara concert also celebrates ten years since the opening of the Vara Konserthus, and also includes a specially commissioned work by Jesper Nordin.

Pekka returns to Sweden to perform Sibelius’ Violin Concerto on 16 April, with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Hannu Lintu.
