Jean-Efflam Bavouzet tours in the US with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. He performs a programme of piano duets including works by Debussy and Bizet with Soyeon Kate Lee, Anne-Marie McDermott and Wu Han. They appear in Columbus, Ohio, on 1 February, Madison, NJ, in 3 February and La Jolla and Atherton (Music@Menlo) in California on 8 & 9 February.

Following the tour, Bavouzet performs a solo recital of works by Haydn, Beethoven, Debussy and Bartok at the Chopin Society of Minnesota in Minneapolis on 16 February. He began his US dates earlier in the month with an appearance with the Seattle Symphony, when he was soloist in Haydn’s Piano Concerto in D and Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No.4.

Prokofiev also features on Bavouzet’s upcoming recording on Chandos – he performs all five Piano Concertos with the BBC Philharmonic conducted by Gianandrea Noseda.
