To celebrate its 10th Anniversary, the Lofoten International Chamber Music Festival presents its first International Piano Festival in 2014. From now on the two festivals will alternate each year.
The piano festival’s Artistic Director Jean-Efflam Bavouzet has created a week of chamber and piano recitals and talks from 7 to 12 July. Set in the spectacular scenery of Norway’s Lofoten Islands, the Festival features an international line-up of musicians including Bavouzet’s fellow pianists Louis Lortie, Paul Lewis and Christian Ihle Hadland.
