Pekka Kuusisto embarks on a tour with the Britten Sinfonia, with whom he last toured in South America in August 2011. The opening performance takes place in Dijon (11 February), before they travel on to Cambridge (20), New York (22), Norwich (25), London (27) and Dublin (28). Pekka will perform Adès’ Violin Concerto and two short pieces by Stravinsky as part of a programme designed and conducted by Thomas Adès himself, which also includes works by Ravel and Couperin.
