In a concert with Tapiola Sinfonietta on 2 March, Ryan Bancroft conducts the world premiere of a new work for piano, violin and strings by Sauli Zinovjev: Double Concerto. Performed by Simon Crawford-Phillips (piano) and Hugo Ticciati (violin), the concert takes place in Tapiola Hall at Espoo Cultural Centre in Finland. Double Concerto was commissioned by Tapiola Sinfonietta, Vesterås Sinfonietta and O/​Modernt Chamber Orchestra.

Zinovjev’s new work is premiered alongside a selection of works by other contemporary composers including Rebecca Saunders, Sky Macklay, and Wang Lu.
