Sauli Zinovjev​’s new work for orchestra, an adagio, receives its world premiere from Sinfonia Lahti, who commissioned the work, conducted by Anna-Maria Helsing. The premiere features at the orchestra’s Independence Day Celebration Concert on 6 December at Sibelius Hall, Lahti, and Sibelius’ Birthday Concert on 8 December at Verkatehdas, Hämeenlinna, Finland. 

Zinovjev describes the work as a darkly veiled work with three waves ending in different situations, saying ​“The work was inspired by the changes of recent years.”
