Alban Gerhardt joins Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Patrick Hahn, for the European premiere of Joan Tower’s work A New Day for Cello and Orchestra. Concerts are held on 11 and 12 January in the Isarphilharmonie, Munich. The programme also includes Duke Ellington’s Three Black Kings and Charles Ives’ Symphony No.2.
