Sakari Oramo returns to NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester for sold-out concerts on 21 and 24 November and a concert in Lübeckk on 22 November. The programme includes the German premiere of Britta Byström’s Shortening Days for Violin and Orchestra performed by Janine Jansen for whom it was composed. Other works include Verdi’s Overture from La forza del destino and Elgar’s Symphony No.2.
