Patrick Hahn makes his debut at Semperoper Dresden on 1 November, conducting Strauss’ opera Intermezzo. This new production marks the first time this rarely performed work is heard in Dresden since the world premiere of the opera there one hundred years ago on 4 November 1924. Patrick Hahn leads the Staatskapelle Dresden and a stellar cast, including soprano Maria Bengtsson and baritone Christoph Pohl, in seven performances across November and December.
