After his acclaimed debut conducting Tschaikovsky’s The Queen of Spades earlier in the year, Aziz Shokhakimov returns to Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich with a lynchpin of the Italian repertoire: Lucia di Lammermoor. He leads a revival of Barbara Wysocka’s stark production starring Adela Zaharia and Xabier Anduaga as the central couple. Performances run from 9 to 19 November.
