Masaaki Suzuki Returns to Orchestre de Chambre de Paris and Lahti Symphony Orchestra

Masaaki Suzuki, founder of Bach Collegium Japan, returns to Orchestre de Chambre de Paris to conduct Haydn’s Die Schöpfung. The performance is on 6 October at the Grande Salle Pierre Boulez in the Philharmonie de Paris. The featured soloists accompanying him are Carolyn Sampson as Gabriel and Eve, Benjamin Bruns as Uriel, Christian Immler as Raphael and Adam, and the choir is Ensemble Aedes.
Following the performance in Paris, Suzuki joins Lahti Symphony Orchestra for a programme that includes Bach’s Orchestral Suite No.3, Haydn’s Symphony No.44 (Trauer), and Mendelssohn’s Symphony No.5 (Reformation). The concert takes place at Sibelius Hall in Lahti on 10 October.
