Javier Perianes returns to Wigmore Hall on 24 September for a lunchtime recital celebrating Spanish and French repertoire. The programme includes Manuel de Falla’s Homenaje ​‘pour le tombeau de Claude Debussy’, Debussy’s Estampes featuring La soirée dans Grenade, and selections from his Préludes including La puerta del vino and La sérénade interrompue. Also featured are Isaac Albéniz’s El Albaicín from Iberia (Book 3) and additional works by Manuel de Falla, including the Suite from El amor brujo and Fantasía Bética.
