Javier Perianes Play-Directs Mozart and Beethoven in April and May

Javier Perianes offers several concerts in April and May, where he is set to conduct and play the piano.
Perianes performs Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.9 and Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.3 with Orquesta Ciudad de Granada on 12 April at Auditorio Manuel de Falla in Granada, followed by a concert at the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest on 17 April with Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra, featuring a monographic programme with Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.1 and No.3.
At the beginning of May, he joins Orquesta Sinfónica de la Región de Murcia for two concerts: the first one at the Auditorio y Centro de Congresos Victor Villegas in Murcia on 2 May and the second on 3 May in Cartagena, at the Auditorio El Batel, where he is set to perform Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.24 and Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.3.
After these concerts, his next stop is with Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias in collaboration with string quartet Cuarteto Quiroga. The concerts take place at the Teatro Jovellanos in Guijón on 9 May and at the Auditorio Principe Felipe in Oviedo on 10 May. The programme is composed entirely of Piano Concerti by Mozart, including Piano Concerto No.24 and No.21 with the Orchestra, and the No.12 with Cuarteto Quiroga.
To finalise this concert series, Perianes performs-conducts Orchestre de Chambre de Paris with a concert on 16 May at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées. The concert opens with Mozart’s Symphony No.16, followed by Perianes’ interpretation of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.24 and Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.3.
