Blaise Malaba makes his company debut for Opéra du Capitole Toulouse as High Priest in Stefano Poda’s new production of Nabucco under Giacomo Sagripanti, opening 24 September. Malaba’s promising early career has laid the foundation for this emerging Verdi bass, with debuts at Royal Opera House, Covent Garden as King of Egypt (Aida) under Sir Mark Elder, Montano (Otello) under Daniele Rustioni, High Priest (Nabucco) under Daniel Oren, and Count Ceprano (Rigoletto) under Stefano Montanari, with appearances in Il trovatore and Les vêpres siciliennes upcoming.
