Valentin Thill and Zwakele Tshabalala each make their role and company debuts as Joe and Trin, respectively, in Tatjana Gürbaca’s new production of La fanciulla del West for Opéra national de Lyon. The performances, conducted by Daniele Rustioni, open on 15 March.

Thereafter, Valentin Thill returns to La monnaie for his role debut as Pong in performances of Turandot, and Zwakele Tshabalala returns to London to make his role and company debut as Beppe in Pagliacci for Opera Holland Park.
