Osmo Vänskä returns to Minnesota Orchestra as Conductor Laureate following his 19 year tenure as Music Director to conduct three concerts from 22 to 24 February at Orchestra Hall Minneapolis. The programme is to include Bottesini’s and Tubin’s Concerto for Double Bass and orchestra — joined by bassist Nina Bernat — Rossini’s Overture from The Barber of Seville, Anders Hillborg’s Through Lost Landscapes, and Kevin Puts’ Concerto for Orchestra.
