Conductor Sakari Oramo returns to London for a Barbican Centre double-bill featuring a handful of much-cherished works such as Ravel’s Shéhérazade, symphonies by Beethoven and Sibelius, and the UK premiere of Tebogo Monnakgotla’s Globe Skimmer Surfing the Somali Jet, for violin and orchestra.
