Conductor Sakari Oramo launches BBC Symphony Orchestra’s 2023/24 season with an exciting programme of works including Ligeti’s Concert Românesc, Pejačević’s Phantasie Concertante for piano and orchestra and Mahler’s Symphony No.5. London concert-goers can see the spectacle at Barbican Centre on 6 October.
