Classic FM’s Rising Stars, a celebration of some of today’s most exciting young classical music talent, returned to Sky Arts this November. Trumpeter Matilda Lloyd featured alongside violinist Ellinor D’Melon, guitarist Raphaël Feuillâtre, cellist Sterling Elliott, pianist Ariel Lanyi and the brilliant 12 Ensemble, playing music from Debussy to De Falla, in the spectacular surroundings of LSO St Luke’s in London. Matilda Lloyd performed two works from her highly acclaimed Chandos album Casta Diva. Rising Stars was recorded on 4 July 2023 and released live on air on Sky TV on 13 November.
