Festival filled July for our Arts Partnerships & Tours team

Visiting some of the most famous music festivals in the world, it's an exciting July for our Creative Partnerships and Tours team

First up the team travel to Italy with Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg under Director Gustavo Gimeno for the Ravello Festival on 9 July. Famous for its beautiful scenery, the orchestra will perform a programme of Rachmaninov, Strauss and Ravel alongside soloist Behzod Abduraimov.

Then it is off to the biggest music festival in the world — the BBC Proms. On 16 July, Die Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and Pekka Kuusisto team up for a Prom inspired by the natural world, with Pekka appearing as both soloist and leader, marking his Proms debut as a conductor.
