Jess Gillam continues to forge new musical relationships, this time with established Singaporean conductor and fellow HP artist Kahchun Wong on 24 June at the Bridgewater Hall with The Hallé. 

Wong has recently been named Principal Guest Conductor of Dresdner Philharmonie, and assumes the role of Principal Conductor of Japan Philharmonic Orchestra next season. His warm and assured conducting style complements Gillam’s eclectic approach, and John Harle’s equally eclectic and unpredictable Briggflatts forms the perfect vessel for them to explore this collaboration to its fullest potential.
