Anne Sofie von Otter returns to the role of Countess Geschwitz in Lulu which opens at Theater an der Wien on 27 May. Presented in collaboration with Wiener Festwochen, this new staging by Marlene Monteiro Freitas of Berg’s modernist masterpiece is conducted by Maxime Pascal and performances continue through to 6 June. This new production of Lulu will be followed by two new operatic productions in Aix-en-Provence and Salzburg Festival for Maxime Pascal.

Shortly following this, Anne Sofie von Otter performs a concert on 16 June at the Grand Théâtre de Genève with a programme including numbers from her Douce France recording and songs in celebration of Midsummer.
