Dalia Stasevska returns to Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal to conduct a series of three concerts on 19 and 20 April at Maison Symhponique de Montréal. The programme includes Sofia Gubaidulina’s The Light of the End, Sibelius’s mysterious Symphony No.6 , and Chopin’s Piano Concerto No.2, performed by the 2021 winner of the prestigious Chopin Piano Competition, Bruce Liu.

She then travels to the US to lead San Francisco Symphony in four concerts, marking her seventh debut this season. The programme features Anna Meredith’s boldly maximalist Nautilus, and two perennial favourites by Sibelius – Symphony No.2 and Violin Concerto, performed by Joshua Bell. The concerts take place on 27, 28, 29 and 30 April at the Davies Symphony Hall.
