Gautier Capuçon begins his residency at Konzerthaus Dortmund as Curating Artist on 25 March. The residency is to include an exciting array of concerts, recitals, cross-arts collaborations, and masterclasses. The residency starts with an all-Beethoven recital with pianist Frank Braley on 25 March, followed by a performance of Haydn’s Cello Concerto with Kammerorchester Wein Berlin on 26 March, and concludes with a performance of Dvořák​’s cello concerto with Weiner Symphoniker under the baton of Robin Ticciati on 2 April. Other concerts include a performance of Schubert’s famous String Quintet with the Hagen Quartet on 28 March, a collaboration with dancer Naomi Brito, pianist Jérôme Ducros, and Cartoonist Jean Plantu for two performances on 30 March, and a concert of popular works performed by Gautier and his young cello ensemble, Capucelli, on 1 April.
