Christoph Poppen conducts his Kölner Kammerorchester in a specially curated jubilee concert at Kölner Philharmonie on 19 March. The concert marks the 100th anniversary of the orchestra and features stellar soloists such as Anne-Sophie Mutter, Martha Argerich, Mischa Maisky, Daniel Müller-Schott and Michael Barenboim. The programme includes Haydn’s Concerto for Cello, Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante for Violin, Viola and Orchestra and Beethoven’s Triple Concerto.
Founded in 1923, Kölner Kammerorchester is the oldest chamber orchestra in Germany.
