The ensemble Martin Grubinger & Friends, consisting of five percussionists and a pianist, will go on its last tour in Germany and Austria in the next three weeks before Martin Grubinger ends his career after this season. The sextet will perform works by Steve Reich, Iannis Xenakis and Daníel Bjarnason.

Their final tour begins at Wiener Konzerthaus on 28 February, followed by concerts at Alte Oper Frankfurt on 7 March, Tonhalle Düsseldorf on 9 March, Hannover’s Großer Sendesaal des NDR on 11 and 12 March, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg on 13 and 14 March, Theater Gütersloh on 15 March, Meistersingerhalle Nürnberg on 17 March and Toscana Congress Gmunden on 18 March. The six musicians will conclude their tour with a concert at Musikverein Graz on 20 March.
