Martin Grubinger returns to Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich for the Swiss premiere of Daníel Bjarnason’s percussion concerto, Inferno, conducted by Jukka-Pekka Saraste on 15 December and 16 December.
In November 2022, this new percussion concerto by Daníel Bjarnason dedicated to Martin Grubinger was premiered by him together with Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra under Tomas Djupsjöbacka. On 18 December, in two family concerts, Martin Grubinger and the percussionists of the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich will then take the audience on a percussion journey through Africa, Asia, Europe, South America and the USA.
