Jean Rondeau debuts with Deutsches Sinfonie-Orchester Berlin
8/2/2023
On 12 February, Jean Rondeau makes his first appearance with Deutsches Sinfonie-Orchester Berlin and conductor Marie Jacquot, performing Francis Poulenc’s Concert Champêtre for Harpsichord and Orchestra. This follows earlier performances of this concerto by the critically acclaimed French harpsichordist with the ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien and the Orchestre de Paris.
With Rondeau lauded in the recent press a “genius” (Bachtrack), a “prominent figure of the nouvelle vague of harpsichordists” (BBC Music Magazine) and “a wizard” (Gramophone), this will be a chance for German audiences to witness a unique soloist at the height of his artistic powers.
