Osmo Vänskä returns to conduct Minnesota Orchestra for his first engagement as Conductor Laureate to lead Mahler’s Symphony No.3, following his 19 year Music Directorship. The performances take place from 10 – 12 November with mezzo-soprano Jennifer Johnston. Vänskä and Minnesota Orchestra have previously recorded Mahler’s Symphony No.5 which merited a Grammy nomination.
