Finnish soprano Karita Mattila makes a highly anticipated return to Wigmore Hall performing Poulenc’s piano version of La voix humaine, alongside songs by Burt Bacharach, Gershwin, Hollaender and Mackeben. She is joined by pianist Keval Shah for this concert on 8 November.

Mattila gave her debut performance of La voix humaine last season in a production especially staged for her by Finnish National Opera, directed by Jussi Nikkilä and under the baton of Dalia Stasevska.
