Acclaimed pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard returns to Paris for a much-anticipated solo recital at the Cité de la Musique on 3 October. In a thematic programme titled Fantaisies, Pierre-Laurent Aimard explores the musical genre of fantasy from the Renaissance voice of Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck to the latter half of the 20th century with Andrei Volkonsky, on a journey that includes Mozart, C.P.E. Bach, Beethoven and George Benjamin.
