Gustavo Gimeno returns to the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam this week to conduct the Concertgebouworkest Young, the orchestra’s international youth orchestra which launched in 2019. The ensemble performs Hímnica by Francisco Coll, Beethoven’s Concerto for Violin featuring soloist Isabelle Faust, and Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, From The New World. Performances take place in Amsterdam on 18 August and Hamburg on 20 August.
