On 5 August, Alina Pogostkina makes a welcome appearance at the Festival Pablo Casals Prades, performing Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto with the Festival Orchestra and Thierry Fischer at the historic Abbaye Saint Michel de Cuxa in Codalet. Then on 21 August, she travels to Austria to play Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No.1 at the Bregenzer Festspiele, where she will be partnered by Symphonieorchester Vorarlberg and conductor Leo McFall.
