Zwakele Tshabalala makes his company debut for Welsh National Opera in the world premiere performances of Will Todd’s new opera, Migrations. The piece explores a complex tapestry of migration stories, the libretto curated by six different writers, directed by David Pountney and unified by Will Todd’s score. Performances open in Cardiff on 29 June, conducted by Matthew Kofi Waldren.
