Nicolas Altstaedt returns to Detroit to perform on 22 and 23 April in the Benaroya Hall. Together with conductor Fabien Gabel, he performs Anders Hillborg’s Concerto for Cello and Orchestra, which will mark US premiere of the piece.

Later this season Altstaedt returns to the US for special performances with Seattle Symphony Orchestra on 2 October. He performs Esa-Pekka Salonen’s Cello Concerto alongside conductor Jonathon Hayward. This concerto is featured on their new CD release for Alpha label.
