Lionel Bringuier returns to Japan this month for concerts with Tokyo Symphony Orchestra and Lise de la Salle on 23 and 24 April. The programme comprises Ravel’s piano concerto in G major, Valses nobles et sentimentales, Esa-Pekka Salonen’s Helix, and the 1919 suite from Stravinsky’s Firebird.

Earlier in the month, Bringuier takes the Orchestre Philharmonique du Nice to the Festival de Pâques in Aix-en-Provence for a concert on 9 April. Renaud Capuçon performs Bruch’s violin concerto, and the programme is completed with works by Smetana and Tchaikovsky. The concert will be streamed live on the festival website and available for 24 hours immediately after.
