Alban Gerhardt performs with the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra on 3 February at Musikverein Wien. Conducted by Marin Alsop, Gerhardt brings Brett Dean’s highly acclaimed Cello Concerto to Vienna, where the orchestra will also play works by Bray, Hindemith and Bartók. The concert will be broadcast on Ö1 on 11 February at 19:30 CET.

This performance follows Gerhardt’s recitals of Bach’s Cello Suites at Theatre de la Ville in Paris on 30 January.
