Pierre-Laurent Aimard returns to the Philharmonia Orchestra for a performance at the Royal Festival Hall on 28 October. The programme focuses on works depicting the natural world, including Messiaen’s Réveil des Oiseaux and Ravel Miroirs and Daphnis et Chloé Suite No. 2. An open rehearsal for Philharmonia Friends precedes the concert. 

Earlier this month Pierre-Laurent made appearances of a new Klaus Ospald commission with WDR Symphony Orchestra and weeks with Danish National Symphony Orchestra, Bamberg Symphoniker and Münchner Philharmoniker to open the new Isarphilharmonie concert hall.
