After a successful visit to Groningen in the spring, Eivind Gullberg Jensen returns to the Noord Nederlans Orkest to open its season. With concerts in Groningen, Assen and a double bill at the historic Het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, on 16, 17 and 18 September respectively, he brings together a programme of Hindemith’s Neues vom Tage Overture, Tchaikovsky’s Concerto for Piano No.1 and Shostakovich’s Symphony No.9.
