On 12 September Oper Frankfurt opens its season with Norma, with Canadian soprano Ambur Braid making her debut in the title role. Erik Nielsen conducts Bellini’s epic tragedy with stage direction from Christof Loy. Performances take place throughout the Autumn when Ambur will also be returning to her critically acclaimed portrayal of Salome in Barrie Kosky’s production, also at Oper Frankfurt, opening on 8 October.
