27/8/2021
Golda Schultz opens the 2021/22 season with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Fabio Luisi. In her debut with the orchestra, Schultz performs a selection of songs from Mahler’s greatest cycles on 2 & 3 September, with the first concert broadcast live on Danish Radio and on national television at a later date.
Golda then heads to the US for the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s season opening concerts 14, 15, 16 & 17 October, in her first performances of Strauss’ Vier letzte Lieder under Music Director Gustavo Dudamel. Schultz’s LA debut was a remarkable week of concerts, featuring Mahler’s Symphony No.2 with Zubin Mehta, Sibelius’ Luonnotar with Esa-Pekka Salonen, and Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 with Gustavo Dudamel.
