HarrisonParrott artists feature at Aspen Music Festival 2021

Stephen Waarts also makes a welcome return to Aspen Music Festival with two performances: Mozart Violin Concerto No.3 with the Aspen Chamber Symphony under Nicholas McGegan on 9 July, as well as Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos Nos.1 & 4 on 14 July 2021.
Samy Moussa’s “Polarlicht” (the second of his 4 Études) is featured on the Aspen Chamber Symphony’s programme on 23 July, conducted by Gemma New. Moussa’s works have been performed and commissioned by the Wiener Philharmoniker, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal, Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and Toronto Symphony Orchestra amongst others; whilst as a conductor, he has worked with the likes of the Bayerische Staatsorchester, MDR Sinfonieorchester Leipzig, Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Zürich Chamber Orchestra.
Behzod Abduraimov returns for both a solo recital, on 4 August, and a performance of Beethoven Piano Concerto No.1 with the Aspen Chamber Symphony under Vasily Petrenko on 30 July 2021.
Golda Schultz makes a welcome return to the Festival on 6 August, in a programme featuring Barber’s Knoxville: Summer of 1915 and Anne Trulove’s aria from The Rake’s Progress, ‘No word from Tom’, conducted by Benjamin Manis.
