Leia Zhu joins the London Symphony Orchestra and Sir Simon Rattle in Trafalgar Square on 15 August for their annual open-air concert, BMW Classics. Zhu is the guest soloist for Saint-Saëns’ Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, and was already scheduled to perform last year, before the event needed to be postponed due to the pandemic impact. Sir Simon Rattle referred to Zhu as ​“a soaring talent”.

The concert is expected to attract thousands of spectators, while also being live-streamed on the orchestra’s YouTube channel (and available to catch-up for 90 days afterwards).
