Jack Swanson enjoys a string of debut appearances at the renowned Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro this month. Jack makes his debut as Florville in Barbe & Doucet’s staging of the rarity Il signor Bruschino on 10 August, gives a solo recital as part of the Belcanto series with pianist Gianni Fabbrini on 17 August, and closes the Festival in a special gala concert in Piazza del Popolo on 22 August, celebrating Juan Diego Florez.

Swanson opens the new season in his calling-card role of Conte Almaviva in Il barbiere di Siviglia for his house debut at Teatro Regio di Torino.
