On 6 October, Jack Swanson makes his mainstage recital debut at Oper Frankfurt with renowned pianist Malcolm Martineau. In a programme ranging from Schumann to Liszt, Poulenc to Puccini, this marks the pair’s first outing together, and will be available to watch on Oper Frankfurt’s YouTube channel shortly after the event.

Jack first appeared at Oper Frankfurt at the start of last season as Rodrigo in Rossini’s masterful Otello, receiving rave reviews for this famously difficult, high-lying role and looks forward to returning in a future season. He next performs on the stage of Den Norske Opera in his calling-card role of Conte Almaviva in a new production of Il barbiere di Siviglia.
