Trumpeter Lucienne Renaudin Vary makes several appearances across the Festival, beginning with a duo recital with accordionist Félicien Brut, in a programme celebrating the centenary of composer Astor Piazzolla. Later in the week she performs Arutiunian’s Concerto for Trumpet with the Ensemble de cuivres et percussions du Festival de Pâques, conducted by Jean-Philippe Dambreville, Lucienne also joins Barbara Hannigan and friends for an evening of chamber music, before leading a masterclass for specially selected trumpet students.

On 4 April, Chamayou plays Saint Säens together with Renaud Capuçon and Les Siècles conducted by Xavier de Roth. The concert will also be livestreamed on the festival website at 20:30 CET.

Finally on 5 April, Chamyou plays Saint Saëns, Chausson, Fauré, Duprac at the concert of Barbara Hannigan & Friends alonsgide other talented artists. The concert will also be available to watch live on the festival website at 20:30 CET.
